every once in a while i have bouts of inspiration and fuck around with music creating software. this thread is to document the results of those endeavors.

nice man, i like the instrumentation, and you have a pretty nice balance of levels going on there. there were moments where it reminded me of jojo's "leave, get out."

can't wait to hear more!

logic is pretty good. i was trained under pro tools 10/11 and have a copy at home, so i have a natural preference for it. how long have you been messing around with it?

ive had it installed for a long ass time and i used it for a grand total of five hours last year to flesh out an idea i had, but ive only recently started seriously using it this week. i dont really have any experience with production so its been an uphill battle but im having fun. my new roommates a hip hop producer too so hes been showing me some stuff.

ive started writing lyrics and turning this and another one ive been working on into full fledged songs. recording vocals is a pain in the ass however. tryna get access to a studio.

the clapping track could probably benefit from some EQ if you want them to pop out a little more, but that's just me, as right now i'm not feeling the inspiration to clap as i would when i hear clapping in a music track, if you know what i mean by that. i like the progress you've been making on it though.

and yes, recording vocals is an art all its own. if you're ever in the NYC area, i know a few good studios where you can lay down some vocals.

the only time I can actually use HoneyBee is when I'm at work. Sound Cloud is blocked at work, so I can't listen to your beautiful music.

I'm in a complaint mood currently. shit has gotten real stupid at work and I think you're music is going to soothe my soul

I like Jive a lot, the opening reminds me of Grizzly Bear. Are you a fan of Portishead by any chance?

Put back up the songs with your vocals, I'd love to hear them.

I've seen amorphous little balls of light bouncing all around in the front yard through the window. I've seen giant bugs on the floor. I was in a hotel room in Amarillo, Texas, and all I remember is standing on the bed and seeing the whole wall in front of me filled with lights that were [makes popping sound] popping like popcorn out of the wall. Then I'll wake up and I go "Wow, I was standing on my bed and staring at this wall."
