Other than pichubro, I don't know of anyone that does. Most people agree that it sucks now. The reasons I hear most include the new voices being sucky and the way they just seem to be recycling the old episodes.
I'm actually watching them all from Kanto to sinnoh but I must admit The DP season sucks
Maybe once every month, not much anymore.

They really are. They redid the Pikachu-gets-in-hospital-by-Raichu-and-almost-evolves episode, the fire-pokemon(charmander)-is-too-shy-to-fight episode, the pokemon-trainer-school episode, etc, etc.

Pokemon is different now. Most episodes are about either earning a badge, doing a contest, or helping people with their problems. The first few season were all fun. There was an episode about the squirtle squad (pure awesomeness), an episode about giant pokemon, an episode where they all raced with rednecks, and even an episode dedicated to pink pokemon.
It was more fun in the good old days. Thumbsup
I remember the pink pokemon episode. Ash's reaction to pikachu turning pink was hilarious. I need to get around and watch to old shows again.

My brothers have that on DVD.
I just like to watch it to see the new pokemon in action.
Do my eyes deceive me, or is that Calicomary? Shock

Yeah, no doubt.

The first episode of course is brilliant. The very begining where it goes from gameboy graphics to Anime is classic. And the good old sparrow chase ending in the first instance of Pikachu thundershocking the hell outta stuff, before it became a cliche

I also remember this really early episode when Team Rocket actually didn't get blown up and they just fled on their own, with the whole we shall meet again type deal, and I was like "hmm, these guys might not be as big of losers as I thought, maybe they won't get blown up every single time", and then they get blown up in the next episode, and the next episode, and the next, and so on, it made me sad.

And wasn't there an episode dedicated to farfetch'd in season 1? I think I remember one

Yeah, episode 49. I think psyduck was in it too.

What's funny, or not so funny I guess, is the newest episode of Diamond and Pearl. Team Rocket decided to go back to their "old ways" in the episode. They made a robot that wasn't protected from electricty, James had a rose, and they used the old motto (D/P has a new retarded motto).

It was quite funny, but sad as well. Esepcally since they didn't have the same voice actors.
I'm still watching it. And I actually really like Diamond and Pearl.

It's cool that you actually know the episode number too

That was the episode that among other things make Farfetch'd my favorite

Yeah, that's what happens when you buy the DVDs.

Though I still watch the VHS tapes, they've had too much love over the years and are wearing down...
Awwwwwww

Yeah, It's sad to see VHS's die....

It's like a family member dying, except sadder
And since they are a couple generations down the line, they aren't being made anymore. Hard to replace. Sad
Yeahhh...........

Although I know for a fact they still sell blank tapes, so you could copy them over onto new VHS's
Uh... Don't know how to do that. ^^;

I can only burn DVDs becuase I have a computer for a medium. VHS tapes are another matter...
In other news, here's another reason the first season was great: Misty was good fodder for comedy:

You just need to know how to hook up two VHS players together

I could probably figure it out if I had the materials, it's pretty easy

On a very rare occasion yes, but I haven't seen ever since last year. I miss the old pokemon and it's actually watchable.
Can't forget the best scene of all time:

Strange how I can't find this scene with the words though. Oh well. The music is one of the best parts as well.
Yes, a very awesome scene better then any other.
I will never forget the moment as Butterfree left Ash to pursue his love amongst a crowd of his peers :'(
